Junior DevOps Engineer
Expectations:
- good working knowledge of Linux systems (preferably Debian-based)
- experience working with the terminal and writing Bash scripts to automate tasks
- basic knowledge of Docker: building, running, debugging containers, working with images, volumes, and networks
- basic experience with Ansible for system configuration and software installation
- basic knowledge of Terraform and the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- understanding of network protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, and basic diagnostic skills
- working knowledge of Python, especially for scripting and creating simple tools to support DevOps workflows
- familiarity with AWS cloud services (particularly EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS)
- basic knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented DevOps environment
- responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail
- good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Nice to see:
- familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Github Actions
- understanding of agile methodologies
- basic knowledge of hosting scenarios for Python/Django or ReactJS applications
- experience using issue trackers such as Jira, Taiga, Redmine, Trello
- general understanding of networking concepts
